1. Dashboard: Your Personalized Overview

Upon logging in, you'll land on your personalized dashboard, providing a snapshot of your progress. Here's what you'll find:

  • Overall Scores: A summary of your performance across all assessments and practice questions.

  • Score Progress Line Graph Trend: A visual representation of your score improvement over time, helping you track your progress.

  • Question Bank Progress: A gauge of your progress through the available practice questions.

  • Overall Analytics: A breakdown of your performance by NCLEX Client Needs categories and specific subjects. This allows you to pinpoint areas where you need to focus your study efforts.

2. New Test: Creating Custom Practice Tests and Assessments

The "New Test" screen is your hub for creating practice tests and assessments. Here's what you can do:

  • Practice Tests:

    • Customize your practice tests by selecting "Practice Test."

    • Choose to include "All Questions" or "Unused Questions."

    • Filter questions by specific NCLEX Client Needs categories and/or subjects to target your study.

  • Readiness Assessments:

    • Simulate the NCLEX with a "Readiness Assessment."

    • This generates an 85-question test covering all areas of the NCLEX test plan, providing a comprehensive evaluation of your readiness.

  • CAT Exams (Computer Adaptive Testing):

    • Experience the adaptive nature of the NCLEX with a "CAT Exam."

    • This test adapts to your performance, following the same cutoff rules as the actual NCLEX.

3. Review Tests: Analyzing Past Performance

The "Review Tests" page stores all the tests you've generated from the "New Test" screen. Here, you can:

  • Review your performance on past practice tests, readiness assessments, and CAT exams.

  • Analyze your answers, review rationales, and identify areas for improvement.

4. NGN Case Studies: Mastering Next Generation NCLEX Skills

The "NGN Case Studies" screen is where you'll find all the Next Generation NCLEX unfolding case studies. Here, you can:

  • Take and review engaging case studies that simulate real-world clinical scenarios.

  • Toggle between the questions and EHR tabs during the test.

  • Review your performance, see rationales, and review the final EHR after the test.

5. Settings: Personalization and Account Management

The "Settings" page allows you to customize your profile and manage your account. Here's what you can do:

  • Subscription Management: View and manage your subscription information or trial status.

  • Profile Customization: Update your name and avatar.

  • Log Out: Securely log out of your Nexclex account.

By familiarizing yourself with these key features, you can effectively navigate the Nexclex platform and optimize your NCLEX preparation.
